#LabourLeaks is a masterclass in making everyone involved look worse. It:

-Raises some awful abuse by some staff
-And also names Jewish critics
-Was leaked to deny antisemitism, but risks those critics welfare
-Was pushed by some 'journalists' despite knowing that

Embarrassing.
#LabourLeaks was angled to defend Corbyn and his office, excluding evidence against him. Then was leaked with that intent.

Leaking the names of Jewish critics.
In a huge data breach.
To deny antisemitism.

How the hell did it get this far? How is this not the main issue taken?
Also this is set to result in multiple lawsuits against Labour. It also will boost the cases of those already suing.

That's on-top of being sued for racism already.

Honestly, this *could* bankrupt Labour.
For Labour there's a unique issue with bankruptcy, mainly that no-one knows exactly how liable its members of the NEC are. Some have said they could be responsible.

If they are, a bankruptcy means you can't stand as an MP. Effectively booting out some MPs come next election.
As a person massively opposed to Labour, I'd actually have a huge fear as a result of the repercussions from that.

Is it deserved? Probably, but there's a huge issue with how people might perceive what has happened.
If antisemitism is what causes Labour to implode, there's a risk many could point the finger at the Jewish people rather than at the antisemites for how this happened.

Basically, Jews could be scapegoated for the collapse of a political party. It may feed racists narratives.
Final point, there wasn't a conspiracy in covering this up by Labour.

It was probably thrown out because it was blatantly written to spin blame, and was written in such an awful way to go viral online.

It would've helped the case against Labour, though. https://twitter.com/AlastairJT/status/1249645832846147586?s=20
