1. Let's go. The 50th day of this Coronavirus chronicle. Spain now has 169,496 official cases of Covid-19 and 17,489 deaths. And we will have even more if napkin masks are the chosen path.
2. Let us record the napkin Coronavirus masks of the regional government led by Miguel Ángel Revilla (PRC) in Cantabria for history. Via @forocoches
3. Coronavirus in Spain: more than 500 official dead since yesterday.

Total: 169,496, +3,477

Discharges: 64,727, +2,336
Discharge rate: 38.19%

Dead: 17,489, +517
Death rate: 10.32%
3- At the press conference, Dr. Sierra has said that the masks for workers today are "a complement" and that other measures such as hygiene and distance seem more important to them. That means the question must be asked: why have they really done all this today?
4. Will we see an exemplary photo of Mr. Revilla with one of the napkin masks he thinks are fit for the population of Cantabria against Coronavirus? His last tweet for now was about the regional first ministers' videoconference yesterday.
5. Revilla explained the napkin masks on La Sexta last week. Minute 10:30. "It's not wonderful but it's a double fabric […] we will give it to everyone until, well, there a bit more sophisticated mask".
6. A new article on the CDC site on the transmission of Coronavirus in intensive care: abundant amounts of it on computer mice, wastepaper bins and the floor. The airborne transmission distance could be up to…FOUR (4) metres. https://bit.ly/2RAGPyn
7. Revilla has published a photo of himself with his napkin masks for Spaniards in Cantabria.
8. A new MoMo report on excess mortality in Spain has just been published, with data collected from the country's civil registries: 17,858 excess deaths up to April 11, compared to the forecast. Health Ministry number for April 11 was 16,353. https://bit.ly/2yYmNaL
9. If we add the new MoMo excess mortality data to the Coronavirus deceased chart for Spain, we see that on the reference date the number is indeed beginning to exceed the Health Ministry number for that same day.

- MoMo: 17,858
- Health Ministry: 16,353
10. With the regional data for total and daily cases, I can see four groups. Group 1: Spanish regions that currently have fewer than 30 Coronavirus cases per day.

- Murcia, Cantabria, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands
- Ceuta and Melilla
11. Group 2: 60 to 100 Coronavirus cases per day. Asturias, La Rioja, Extremadura.
12. Group 3: 110 to 250 Coronavirus cases per day. The Basque Country, Valencia, Andalusia, Navarra, Galicia and Aragón.
13. And finally Group 4: between 350 and 700 Coronavirus cases a day. Madrid, Catalonia, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla y León.
14. Coronavirus cases in Spain by region and by 100,000 inhabitants:

- Highest: 1,068 (La Rioja)
- Lowest: 88 (Canary Islands)
- Madrid: 705
- Spain: 360
15. Italy today: Spain's neighbouring country passes 20,000 Coronavirus dead.
