Male and female members of Fair Cop are happy to discuss their objections to the word ‘cis’ and why this word so often gets in the way of sensible discussion.

Hopefully we can start without the assumption that people who object are ‘weird’ or ‘whacky’ or ‘ridiculous’.

The reason we want to take this off Twitter and actually have a conversation is because responses like this are so sadly typical. We hope most people, when not hiding behind a screen, would be willing and able to talk sensibly.

So far a grand total of ZERO self identifying ‘trans activists’ have accepted our invitation to open and public discussion. This is a great pity but of course we respect their decision not to engage. And the offer will remain open.
