Just heard the terrible and upsetting news that my nan& #39;s husband, Harvey, passed away late last night due to COVID-19. He& #39;s been in my family for nearly fifty years and has supported all of us, particularly my nan, through thick and thin. We& #39;re going to miss him terribly.
In recent years, he had developed Alzheimer& #39;s, but even then he was funny, cheeky and characterful. We& #39;ll remember his quick humour and his love for watching the football with a whiskey, and how he& #39;d always bring our family together at Christmas and take us to the pantomime.
He was 81. Thankfully, he passed peacefully, in his sleep. And although we can& #39;t meet as a family for his burial, which will be tomorrow in accordance with his faith, we will gather at his stone setting in a few months& #39; time and celebrate his life. May he rest in peace.
Going to close out this thread with a pic my aunt has just found – Harvey and my nan at some point in the 80s, in happier times.
