I find the obsession certain people have with the 2017 general election very bizarre.

I was in the Labour Party at the time the view on the doorstep wasn't that we were good it was the Tories fought a diabolical election campaign.

It's 2020 please move on and focus.
The election which matters is in 2024. The reality is if anyone else would have been leader Theresa May would have lost but she wouldn't have called that election if anyone else would have been leader of the opposition.

Stop obsessing over it and move on.
Falling short by 64 seats for a majority isn't a general election victory. It is a failure.

And this is why 2019 was a bigger failure because the Labour frontbench went into it thinking they just won the last election when they lost badly.
My advice is to focus on the future on defeating the conservatives at the ballot box in 2024. This obsession with a election where let's be honest every party failed (except the DUP) is just so pointless.

My party failed to and we must all now work together. End of thread.
