Randomly remembering the time I offhandedly mentioned the death of the author and some person argued with me across the course of a day or so before I realized they thought I literally meant I wanted a person to die

It was perhaps less pathetic than the absolute dillhole who thought I was making a personal attack talking about the "pathetic fallacy" and then refused to let it go after I realized they didn't know what it was

Anyway that's what Twitter critical analysis is to me forever now

And in just posting this thread we got another person who a) was offended by the terms b) has no idea what they mean this is why I *stay* on Twitter
