Stop downloading Nigerian books for free.

Stop sharing e-versions of Nigerian books with your friends.

Stop generating e-pubs of Nigerian books and uploading free versions on sites.

If you can't pay for books, skip past.

Nigerian writers deserve to earn from their sweat
...and before you bring the "but when you see music...", no, I don't download music albums, I don't download movies

Nigerian writers are already on the backfoot because people don't buy books that much, then you want to further drive them to penury by freely distributing books!
"The scanning, uploading, electronic sharing of any part of this book without the written permission of the author will constitute unlawful piracy and theft of the author’s intellectual property..."

Yes, you commit a violation when you do that.

Cease and desist, please.
To this end, there will no longer be electronic copies of my books made available.

"The Colours In These Leaves" (published on @Okadabooks in 2017) will be available in print

My forthcoming manuscript, "The Anatomy of Grieving", will only have hard copies. Y'all don't rate us
In 2018, I got a DM from a book club in Bayelsa saying they had read "The Colours In These Leaves", an autobiographical hybrid of poetry & essays.

I was almost grateful for the feedback...then I was like "wait, how did they get it?"

A LEAKAGE! LOSS OF SALES! NO FIGURES EARNED!
People argue that well, they "need to read"

There are anthologies, there are medium pages, there are magazines like @brittlepaper and @KalahariReview if you want to read Fiction and Poetry so bad.

It's just dishonest to enable FREE access to what cost Time & Effort...
...as a matter of fact, it's criminal.

Do you bake cakes, or make dresses, & then distribute freely?

So, why should writers not earn from their labour?

You won't support, you won't buy, but you want to read what they created?

Fuck you and all you stand for!!
