Sure they all & #39;code& #39; in the sense that they pair in with devs or write their own training codebases or do a bit of open source or whatever. One question I always ask a coach is "when is the last time you yourself took responsibility for delivering critical code to production?".
Anything over 5 years and they are a theorist, no matter how convincing sounding their theories might be. Theorists appeal to other theorists (who can, on occasion, including CEOs and other well-meaning people with money to spend) ...
... but the world is going through a reality check right now where theories are expensive luxuries. Perhaps take this opportunity to fundamentally re-connect with the thing that you train and coach in?
