There’s such a fine line between discipline and obsession. Are you holding yourself accountable, or are you putting undue pressure on yourself?
This is all because I don’t wanna go on a run when I wake up. And I’m normally all about not doing shit you don’t wanna do—find things you actually enjoy and do them often until the day you die. That’s as much as anyone can hope for out of life.
But things are different now that so many things I enjoy, that luckily also have positive benefits, are off the table. Do I wake up and do something I hate (running) for the positive benefit (health and fitness)?
Or do I wake up and do something I love (eat pancakes) for an equally positive benefit (pancakes)? Well. Looks like pancakes wins this round. Thanks for the support everybody.
Life was simpler for me when gyms and basketball courts were open.
