“It’s dark over Albert’s Mother’s.”

Referring to gloomy/bad weather in the distance. Heard it in NW UK. Apparently often “Bill’s mother’s” elsewhere.
“How big’s a small dog?”

Variant of ‘How long is a piece of string?’
