Period pains/senggugut. How to fight? This is the thread on how to reduce the pain cuz sumpah rasa macam nak bergaduh. Last week senggugut i teruk sangat so i baca banyak articles about it so i rasa why not share dengan korang? hehe so here it is.
It is insanely difficult to explain exactly what you’re going through to other people. Some of women ada lain lain symptoms, ada yang tak pernah senggugut, ada yang senggugut bonus migrain, ada yang rasa loya nak muntah. You're not alone, honey <3
Ada i baca, dia kata womens yang period tak teratur ni selalunya sakit senggugut dia lagi intense. Boleh sampai terbaring je berhari hari. So treat your women nicely la bila dia senggugut, jangan macam macam lah penat la
So now ways to reduce period pain! 🙃
1, Drink up.
Pernah rasa perut kembung bila period? You and all of us, sister. Staying hydrated doesn’t directly curb the cramps tapi membantu untuk reduce kembung. So ingat lepas ni if dah rasa nak datang bulan, keep a bottle handy to drink
2. Hit it with heat
Studies show that topical heat can block pain receptors on the skin and can relax tense uterine muscles reducing the contractions that cause cramping. And i setuju! If you ada heating pad try lah. I takde so i guna kain celup air panas sebab i kampong kan 🤣
Tapi seriously i suka cara ni sebab rasa lega sikit and kurang sakit sikit. If korang lagi malas dari i, pegi mandi air panas. Dan jangan lupa minum air panas sebab it works too! Tapi baca aritu ada orang prefer guna icepacks juga. Ikutlah mana okay dengan badan okay?
3. Eat your pain away.
PMS = mengidam makan semua benda goreng goreng tak sihat tapi sedap nak mampos (for me). But those burgers, donuts and fries aren’t your friends depa kabo ai kried 😭 Salty foods can increase already existing bloating and discomfort, so try to stay awayyyyy
If you’re having an insatiable craving for something manis manis, try makan benda yang natural macam kurma or kismis. Sugar ni inflammatory so dia boleh tambahkan sakit senggugut hangpa semua. If nak makan coklat try makan dark coklat. Muscle korang akan relax sikit
4. Bust that stress!
Did you know that stress affects reproductive hormones? So, it’s only logical that it would affect your period as well. Lagi stress korang pergi, lagi intense sakit senggugut tu. And while it’s easier said than done, try to control your emotion.
Try take 'me time' masa tengah period. You can chill and netflix? Or do something yang korang suka for an example sembang dengan your friend ke, make up ke, yoga ke, movie marathon ke, masak ke apa apa lah yang penting korang happy.
5. Just move it.
Dalam erti kata lain : Exercise. Which is my last option too hahahahhah but there’s good reason to push through. Dia takkan bagi instant pain relief macam tu tapi it has been proven yang ianya boleh kurangkan sakit senggugut.
6. Drink your tea.
Bukan nak cakap apalah, tapi seperti salt, coffee may also increase discomfort. It makes blood vessels constrict and may cause the vessels that feed the uterus to tighten. Dokter yang kabo okay 😌
7. Diet.
Not that strict diet nak kurus la (but can kurus too haha), tapi diet to not eat benda bukan. Stick to low-fat, high-fibre diets rich in Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamins and Omega 3 which are natural anti-inflammatories and get set to fight off those menstrual cramps.
I bagi contoh :
> Magnesium ( Dark chocolate, Avocados, Dark green leafy vegetables, almonds, wholegrain products )
> Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin B12 ( Seafood, eggs, flaxseeds, walnuts, chia seeds )
> Vitamin E (Wheat germ, Almonds, Peanut butter)
8. Pop a pill.
I tak suka sangat option makan pills sebab i tak suka makan ubat. Tapi you guys know kan kat luar dijual pil untuk reduce senggugut. One of it, Panadol Menstrual. I beli haritu in case i hampir mampos boleh la telan tapi nasib perut dah ok!
If korang memang boleh telan pills, Ibuprofen, Aspirin and Naproxen work wonders to alleviate pain by blocking the products of prostaglandins and are easily available over the counter. I baca better makan awal masa start senggugut before sakit tu jadi intense.
