New thread: I'm scrolling through Twitter this morning. There are tweets telling people that there is too much negativity. There are tweets telling people that there is too much positivity.
The thing is this experience is yours to own and not for others to determine or invalidate. All feelings and responses are valid. If you are scared, articulate this. If you are focusing on the positives, share how you are doing this.
In my opinion, people who want more positivity, need it for themselves. People who want people to articulate their sadness or worry or fear, don't want to feel alone in theirs. But we are not here solely to validate others, we have to feel that our own feelings are validation
enough, even if they do not align with other people's. We have all gone through fear, worry, upset, optimism, hope and joy. We just experience it at different points. How you do this is up to you. You can't ask others to share your exact journey through this. We can just hope
People understand rather than judge. We are united, however, by our resilience to get through this and live our lives once more. Peace out ✌
