@MumbaiPolice is there a better scenario which can be implemented in such a situation? A thread:

Due to the number of cases, rules have been enforced in Ghatkopar East saying Subzi / essentials / fruits / groceries only between 10am to 2pm on a Monday and Thursday.

Because of this and the fear of APMC shutting, people are out in widespread numbers to purchase stuff
There is chaos everywhere the vegetable vendors are allowed to sit! Social distancing is NOT being followed cause it's not possible because of the number of people out there
People in Vehicles who are out purchasing stuff have literally clogged the streets because they think it right to just park their vehicles haywire and go out shopping! The noise of Car honks is deafening.
I myself have not dared to step out despite dwindling supplies in my house
The Police have alloted a few places where the Vendors are allowed to go and sell but due to sheer population of Ghatkopar East I fear these areas should not be overwhelmed.
@MumbaiPolice the risk of people being outside in such sheer numbers for 4 hours twice a week is surely higher than the previous 20 days when everything was allowed to be sold throughout the day and crowds could be easily managed?
@MumbaiPolice this is what social distancing looks like currently from my house and has been the case since 9.45 am today morning. – at Jain derasar
