Ppl assume that I'd love Unorthodox & One of Us. I've watched neither I deal with reality, not Netflix's take on reality. The chasidic/haredi communities can't be boiled down to 5 TV hours. No community can Are there problems? Sure. Voyeurism wont solve them, neither will fiction

It's nauseating, honestly, the glee people feel picking apart Jewish communities. I'd not like to see it happen to anyone else, I won't watch it here. Our job is to fix our community's worst parts, not watch them played out for the world that loves to hate us.

I will also say this however: If the community took seriously the problems within itself, gave voice to the victims, sought to solve its problems... people would not need to look to outside platforms to be heard. And that's on the community.
