why bgs can’t cover svt like ggs can, esp w/ adore u, mansae, pretty u, oh my, n thanks is that seventeen aren’t afraid to be a little feminine. their dancing doesn’t depend on POWER. bgs covering those songs tend to put too much unnecessary energy into it, making it look weird

even when they cover intense songs like clap, getting closer, etc. they put so much unnecessary energy to make up for what they’re lacking: practice. svt practice so much that the choreo comes to them as easy as breathing. this means they put the perfect amnt of energy into it.

svt dance like the choreo is engraved in their brains. they put the perfect amount of energy,they don’t put too much, making themselves look unorganized or awkward. which bgs tend to do. esp w more “feminine” songs, they just dance too intensely, ruining the choreo n performance

u can clearly see the difference between them. the first dude is putting way too much energy for a choreo like adore u, making his arm movements look a bit awkward. while jeonghan makes his movements look smooth n practiced bc he isn’t putting unnecessary power n energy into it

this is just smth ive seen a lot of bgs do when they cover svt. which makes gg covers of svt songs way more visually appealing

jeonghan put the right amount of enthusiasm,power n energy for his performance to look smooth n match the boyish vibes of the song,, adore u doesn't depend on power alone,, which is what so so so many bgs assume n end up doing, making their performance look overbearing or awkward
