No way May 15th is the last time they extend our stay at home order. Our local/national gov'ts know this too. They're treating us like children though, knowing we'll freak out if they gave us the realistic time frame, so they're extending it little by little.

I was reading this NY Times piece, same one that has ppl on their "festivals won't be back til Fall 2021 wahh" bit.

Experts don't even think kids will start the next school yr on campus. Talking about the elimination of whole industries & COVID resurgences in reopened cities.

I mean these experts are already pondering this moral trade-off. "Shit is real" if ya'll didn't already know.

Oh & Brightside: sense of community (which many of our state/city heads are leading us with) keeps suicide rates down in times like these.

ALSO! Something I didn't take into account (naively because I'm not living it) is there are kids who will suffer greatly, now & as a result of, simply not having internet access.
