My addition to the Jay-Z / Lil’ Wayne “who the goat?” discussion..

I just never recall a time .. where Wayne was out-rapping jay z... like I know the time period was declared.. but during it .. as much as I loved Wayne.. and as much as he was rapping.. (a lot) I just couldn’t see him rapping better than jay... though jay released way way less

I feel like jay-z was an epic, drama, or crime-mystery that had to be unpacked

Wayne was more like an unrated comedy to me .. you just run it back all the time cus Its light & everybody wants to see it

Both played a major role in my life .. just one made me wanna grow up & be a boss.. and the other made me wanna stay young & be a rockstar

Here’s the weirdest thing about this thread though...... a true twist

Kanye is still the greatest CREATOR/“artist” I’ve ever seen in hip hop

and DRAKE is the biggest I’ve ever witnessed.
