2/ You get your eye in for who will get sick...but they get sick so fast. Vital that important conversations about wishes, priorities, escalation had as early as possible. Also really important to talk to families, try to get the on video link to patient

3/ Some patients really find conscious probing helps symptoms! Fancy term for lying on your tummy...(why haven’t we encouraged this more before?)

4/ CRP trend is the most useful test...and can take a while to turn the corner...be patient!

5/ Even when improving, it takes ages...be honest with patients that they are in for the long haul.
