After Every Trials | a Hyena Fanfiction

After spending one night at Choong, Hee Jae decided to live with Geum Ja. Without telling her, he barged in with his luggage and his carrot pillow.

Hee Jae stood in front of Geum Ja who was just getting ready to sleep on her sofa. She was unfolding her blanket but was stopped 'coz of Hee Jae's appearance in front of her. Shocked, she looked at Hee Jae with her puzzled face.

"I will live here from now on." Hee Jae said with a straight face. Geum Ja looked at him from head to foot. He's wearing a big black hoodie, rubber shoes, his hair was down and he's holding the carrot pillow across his arms like he's depending his life on that pillow.

Geum Ja sighed, giving up 'coz she knows he'll never back down. "Not with that carrot." Geum Ja said while pointing at the carrot. Then she continued tucking herself in. Hee Jae put his luggage aside and then prepared the table where he'll sleep.

When he settled beside her, he hugged the carrot pillow like a child and then he faced Geum Ja. He looked at her with loving eyes and a small smile. Geum Ja, on the other hand, was trying to sleep by closing her eyes. But then, she felt his stare..

.. so she opened her eyes and then she faced him. "Why? Can't you sleep?" Geum Ja asked with her low voice and sleepy eyes. "I want to watch you sleep." Hee Jae answered also with his low voice and sleepy eyes. They both fell asleep soundly.

The next morning, Ji Eun came to the office earlier. She brought her boss some breakfast and coffee. Without knocking, Ji Eun entered carefully as she might awake her boss. She went straight to the table but got shocked with what she saw..

Geum Ja and Hee Jae are hugging each other under the same blanket. The two were sleeping peacefully as if they haven't gotten any sleep. After being a bit shocked, Ji Eun smiled at the scene and then she put the breakfast on her table instead. Moments later..

... Atty. Na barged in and shouted, "Good morning, Ji Eunah!" With a big smile on his face. Ji Eun was about to cover Atty. Na's mouth but it was too late. Hee Jae and Geum Ja was awakened because of Atty. Na. Geum Ja was embarrassed while Hee Jae was smiling ear to ear.
