So wait, you hate them for singing (i admit, the singing was horrid) a song that wishes to eradicate economic parity and put everyone on equal footing, and also hate them for being richer than you, in perfect accordance with what a capitalist economy is all about?!

They'd rather keep people in debt and living paycheck to paycheck, in the name of capitalism. So, you hate communism, hate the effects of capitalism, but still vote for leaders that promote rampant capitalism and vote out social democratic candidates?! How does that work?!

Then there are those who're saying that singing "imagine there's no heaven" in these times is borderline offensive. Well, the idea of that line was to acknowledge that there shouldn't be religious divides among people.

Well, wars and conflicts based on religion have killed more people than any epidemic ever has. Religion is supposed to teach a person to look inward and improve their own selves by absorbing the virtues that the respective religion preaches.

Instead, thru time immemorial, people have turned religion outwards and judged, killed, looted, looked down upon, persecuted, etc.etc. others that do not believe in the same God as them; heck sometimes even people who believe in the same God as them but a little differently.

... because it's killed thousands, why are we still doing nothing about the concept of Religion that has literally killed hundreds of millions? The song may just be acknowledging (the song, not the celebs. I doubt they thought this much about it)...
