I made my way across the road as the mother seemed agitated and as if she was trying to tell us something. As I got closer, she stopped. Here’s what happened...
After realising there was a poor duckling stuck down the drain and rescuing it, we sent all 11 on their way with their content mother. But wait... something else was down there! https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😲" title="Astonished face" aria-label="Emoji: Astonished face">
Here’s the 12th duckling! We nearly missed him. The mother duck had made off into the field so I asked my youngest (4) to wait on the path by the road and she was fab. I scaled the fence and managed to find them all, just in time. He was muddy but at least he was safe.
One happy family with all 12 accounted for. Well, I think it’s 12!? Colette (youngest daughter) was made up. Eldest two (8 and 11) returned and couldn’t believe they’d missed it.
Off they go. Thought I’d share. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="šŸ¦†" title="Duck" aria-label="Emoji: Duck">

Right place, right time.

That road is usually quite busy at that time so very lucky. Must have fallen down whilst crossing the road.

Made my day! Hope you enjoy. #staysafe
