Pareto’s Law: 80% of Covid-19 infections are in 20% of the districts.

We must concentrate on what can be restarted in 80% of the districts with minimal restraints on the public.

An indirect manifestation of Pareto’s law: 80% of those who succumb to Covid-19 cases are over 60 years & less than 20% of the population.

They can be located via Aadhar + mobile links, areas mapped, & selectively tested for infection & quarantined at homes if necessary.

A combination of action along these two vectors for focussing effort will hopefully enable us reopen large parts of the economy without prolonged lockdowns.

Need of the hour is clarity of thought & focus on what can work with resources to hand.
