My conversation with a Chinese friend regarding #nnevvy's issue: A THREAD

Disclaimer- I don't mean any stereotypical things I might say here.

I always talk to her on IG, I was supposed to ask her if she knew about the issue since a lot of Chinese fans do have a lot of things to come across barriers since China has its own softwares.

Since some Chinese Fans can't go through Twitter and some don't know english very well, I don't know where she got this post. This is a fan account. They thought this was Bright's account so they also had bad assumptions about Bright.

According to her, this post was tweeted by Bright. Which I don't really think IS true. Don't judge Chinese people just yet. They're just very patriotic and they're capable of anything for their motherland. They thought they were very took badly and that degrade in this issue.

Thai people also took the wrong move, they tweeted some pitiful yet sarcastic posts on Twitter. Having no VPN for China is impossible to go through the barriers and access to apps such as Twitter, IG and even YouTube.

I was very clueless myself why they thought Bright was involved in the situation. He stayed silent yet was getting hate from Chinese people.

I'm pretty uneducated myself, Taiwan and Hongkong DOES want to isolate and not be so called as a part of China. It's true that Nevy wasn't that mindful considering his figure as a Thai influencer.

Let me repeat myself, they got an assumption that a fan account was Bright's official account. Though I checked Bright's twitter account right after I saw #nnevvy trending in Thailand, I still took some few researches. They really got that thing wrong.

Bright got chewed out because of Nevy's posts and tweets, which I think is very wrong. Everything's have gotten out of hand.

Though I'm sad that they won't see Bright as an aspiring artist anymore, I just don't want her to get stressed about the issue. As she said it has gotten all over China, which is something that can't be taken back immediately

I tried to explain everything, about the misconceptions and all. I don't think it's gonna be known by the Chinese ppl in general but at least I can clear Bright's name even a little

I tried to elaborate about the issue more. I'm partly glad that they don't drag Win into this.

Please don't hate Chinese people, I created this post to reach out to y'all what really is behind their anger and their personal perspective. They're honestly very kind. Not what we believe is everything that's true. We shouldn't take sides. We aren't much involved with this.

Bright's amount of followers on Weibo got a massive decrease from over 600K
