It’s amazing how Virgo was never supposed to mean “virgin”. Virgo is a representation of sexual liberation and being tied to nobody. Just straight fucking. My Virgo moon felt that. We were never a prude sign. That’s just underdeveloped energy.
I’m actually looking up that Vestal Virgins being harlots were a myth, but I do feel like there was some sort of healers who were harlots. Maybe not them, but the mythology tying Virgo/Scorpio together including their symbolism means there’s some link there. Two extremes? Maybe.
But I think two extremes give them one form to a certain extent. One can’t go without the other, but giving Virgo this virgin archetype in modern day is very, tired. It’s inhibited energy and a construct.
