Here's why I'm not a fan of Scott Gottlieb's policy proposals:

1) Indefinite lockdown will destroy America.
2) Indefinite lockdown will destroy America.
3) Has authoritarian impulses. See: Call for total vaping ban
4) He's tied in w/ Big Pharma & has major conflicts of interest.
Yes, Scott Gottlieb really said this quote: “Unless we’re able to change the current trajectory of tobacco-related disease, almost six million children alive today will die prematurely later in life from tobacco use."

He's a totalitarian fear monger. I don't trust him at all.
Remember, Gottlieb wanted to shut our country down until at least August. This would have destroyed America as we know it. He's changed tune in order to get back into the good graces of policymakers, who want to reopen sooner. Too many conflicts. Too much authoritarianism for me.
Gottlieb is similar to other bureaucrats in that he speaks with absolute certainty, when in reality, he's taking guesses but won't admit to it. Read through these tweets and how Gottlieb simply dismissed other strong hypotheses about COVID spread: https://twitter.com/YossiGestetner/status/1249368823079280640?s=20
Gottlieb is on the board of directors of Pfizer, a gig that gives him at least $335k per year to do basically nothing. He has a seat purposed w influencing policy to favor Pfizer. They r involved in both COVID-19 treatments & vaccine dev. Way too many conflicts for Gottlieb.
