There is an official narrative about what is going on with Africans in GZ.

I am refusing to accept this narrative.

This is not smart.

I am doing this not just because I am anti-racist but because I am pro-Chinese and I think this is a horrible mistake that will cost us dearly.

As many of you know I sponsor and support the young Ugandan teens @Skymac_Teens. They are brilliant young engineers. I had hoped they could come study in China one day. Now there are signs in Guangzhou refusing service for the color of skin, evictions with no reason given.

In China we are still poor, but we all have simple food and roof over our head. Hunger is very rare- and I'm very proud of that. Even criminals are not left to sleep in the streets, so what unproven, alleged crime would excuse refusing food and shelter to guests in our country?

This is a denial of our own historical suffering at home due to colonialism and abroad as immigrants due to racism, a betrayal of our ancient traditions of hospitality, and a betrayal of our future- by allowing the mistreatment of our most promising global partners.
