If you want to advance a socialist mass politics I am not sure why you'd start with the premise that politics equals voting. I'm not saying it's necessarily useless to get people to vote, but it actually seems like a pretty unrealistic place to start

This mass resistance to voting is pretty rational. I mean, the burden of proof is really on the people who are advocating voting

I'm saying this in a fairly practical way. Maybe people will show up and vote for your candidate if you do something else useful for them in their lives
