As expected, daily deaths are going down in most countries with lockdowns and social distancing. Growth rates continue following the Chinese curve. (see thread)
Countries that entered early in lckdowns or stringent/smart social distancing, still follow the Chinese growth curve above, yet from below. Thus they remain in significant lower death numbers so far.
Some followers requested to see other countries:
- need to pay attention to France as it remains growing at much higher than expected rates for this stage of the pandemic
- seems as if France had a more relaxed social distancing approach (French, feel free to comment)
Death growths on a daily basis:
this chart was useless, given the statistical volatility of single day death growth. However, after 6 weeks, with more scale in the denominator, guess what: all roads lead to China. Again.
Globally, growth rates steadily declining as low as 5%
