This morning my grandma zoomed us to pray the rosary. My family doesn’t practice our Catholicism very often and today my sister learned the general pattern of praying 10 Hail Marys and a glory be...
So I’m minding my business doing homework in a room we use for storage and my sister comes up to me and goes, “did you know we have a rosemary? It’s right behind you in that little box”
I looked in the box she was pointing at and I pulled out a ROSARY

And then she goes, “I finally get how the 10 beads mean the Hail Marys and the one bead means the uhh... the god bless ahhhh... uhhhhh..”
And I’m like “do you mean glory be?”
And then I’m also thinking was she about to say god bless America???
And I’m like “do you mean glory be?”
And then I’m also thinking was she about to say god bless America???
And then I was telling her how I honestly didn’t know what the first 5 beads were and what prayers go with those ones and then she goes, “I think they’re just for show”
The funniest but also most disappointing part of this whole story is that this conversation happened after the fact that my grandma wrote out the entire rosary on a word document and included pictures of how to pray a rosary
