Now is the time for the young and metabolically healthy to be exposed to SARS CoV2. Herd immunity is the way forward. This virus isn’t going to just disappear. Manage healthcare resources and face it head on.

Continue to isolate those who are most at risk while letting those who will not have a severe course of illness be exposed. This should not create more of burden on the healthcare system.

We cannot pin our hopes on a vaccine which is 12-18 months away and for which we cannot know the effectiveness.

Perhaps the best way to protect those most susceptible is for those of us who are young and healthy to be exposed to this virus.
