neonpunch's company, a100, is a terrible company and need to start treating and managing neonpunch better: a thread
#JusticeForNeonpunch
starting out, a100 seemed like an okay, typical small company. it seemed like they treated the girls well, but there were signs from the very beginning of how terrible they could be.
not long after debut, a100 posted a "prank" where they told neonpunch that they were disbanding. the girls were DEVESTATED. they started crying on camera and fans were naturally upset about this. a100 deleted the video without a statement or apology to fans.
here's the video.
about a month later, one member, terry, vanished. she didn't show up in any videos, pictures, or vlives they posted. fans BEGGED for information on terry's whereabouts but a100 stayed silent for over three months.
then, neonpunch had a comeback with new member dohee. they barely promoted, with bad mics too.
then silence again for a few months. they posted some dance practices that got some attention. and then they announced that they were opening a makestar. fans raised about 12k, which was 179% of their goal.
then, silence AGAIN. for months, neonpunch was inactive. then, a couple months before neonpunch went to the us to perform at a korean music festival, member dohee went ia. she didn't post on her personal instagram or individually on the group's.
she was only seen in posts with the other members. after the festival, she stopped being seen entirely. fans began to get concerned again, but, again, a100 didn't say anything.
in early 2020, it was announced that neonpunch would have an april cb. but, before that could happen, neonpunch's youtube was hacked. the hackers deleted all of their videos. they managed to get it back but it was a major setback.
around a month ago, member may started acting in a familiar way. she wasn't on the group instagram anymore. she took neonpunch out of her personal bio. she stopped following their instagram and the other members. she opened her own youtube channel. she even stopped going by may.
and, yet, a100 STILL will not say anything. there's been no news on a cb thats supposed to happen this month nor on the two members that have seemingly left the group. i am just asking for a statement and begging for kpop stan twitter to help these girls before we lose them.
