by the by idk if i mentioned this but i got final fantasy 7 remake the other day. it's pretty good. i have nuanced opinions.

im not done playing through yet. the battle system is different and takes some getting used to, but i really like how they did it. the primary downside for me is how linear it is. they removed the "grinding" aspect to it. cant train up to become OP if i want to

i also heard that they heavily deviate from the original storyline near the end of the game. that's really going to dictate how i feel about the game overall. updates to follow
