This "Ambrose was a victim" shit needs to be squashed. Him and Rollins had the most tv time out of anyone, given the most exposure, titles, a plethora of main events.

If they'd gone the Roman route with him, which as we know was not the best, it wouldn't have worked.

Ambrose and Rollins were "taken care of" out the gate. It was Roman who got the short end with zero character change when they split. Dude was sent to the wolves, while the other two were given amazing storylines to work with and get over without resistance

Vince didn't take care of Roman. Roman took care of Roman by taking the healing pile of shit he was given, and turning it into gold by proving to Vince that he could be their guy with pure hard work.

Rollins actually was hand held by HHH, so I can't refute that. Ambrose? Well, he clearly could not have been their main guy because all he wanted to do was curse a bunch on tv and do death matches. WWE was never for him.
