Can we as a fandom stop enabling awful business/work habits through the use of phrases like "take as much time as you need". Mental health is certainly important, but support to an extent. When someone is paid thousands and uses this excuse to push off owed projects indefinitely
That's awful.. That's taking advantage of people's kindness and just digging a deeper hole as they take on more commissions to continue their lifestyle. When you run a business you really, REALLY can't only make excuses and never work. That's straight stealing. Knowingly too.
I just see some people blindly support certain folks with these exploitative habits and its encouraging/enabling them to continue as they are. That's not cool, it's at the expense of people they owe and are held hostage by the project they paid for
I'll probably delete this soon. I just have all this bottled energy and I really needed to vent about it. It's always a passionate few who are ready to defend these habits vehemently when it's an incredibly legitimate complaint. It's not "wow she doesnt support mental health"
