Bakugou was always a smart kid. He always got the best grades in everything he did, in and kind of subject.

Math? Easy. Science, cooking, English, P.E... anything. Nothing was "too hard".

And if he is not good he will put all his effort into being the best.
He always got the best grades in class, /never/ dropped down below 9 or 8'5. And Bakugou was proud of that.

That's why when he started getting more 8'1, 7'5, or even a 6'9, Masaru was surprised. And worried.

It wasn't a drastic change, you know, they were
still pretty good grades, but he was concerned, was something wrong with his son?

Maybe it was all his imagination. You know, this was his second year in UA, things must be harder now, right?

But he is still worried. Was Bakugou sad?
Was he worried about something? Maybe... he had problems... maybe girl related problems?

He wanted to know, but, well, is not like he can go and just simply ask his son. Masaru was sure that Bakugou would be nervous and would start screaming.
So his other, and only, option was his lovely wife. Maybe she knew something he didn't.

And sure she did, but the only thing she answered when he asked was "Oh honey..." followed by a little kiss on the cheek.

Well, that didn't help much.
Was he supposed to know something? He was confused.

Back again with the first idea. Asking his son.

He chose a quiet Saturday morning, when he was watching the news and his son was texting someone with a soft smile on his face.

He looked like

He did it
him when he started talking with Mitsuki. So, maybe, it was true, was he in love with a girl? That was amazing!

So, he asked.

"Katsuki," he started, and Bakugou looked away from his phone to look at his dad " is there, uh, something wrong? Are you nervous
about something? Maybe... Ah, I noticed that you are getting lower grades? Are you, I don't know, maybe thinking about a girl?"

Masaru didn't knew what was he expecting, an answer?

Of course when Bakugou started shouting "Are you stupid?!" "Get lost!"
"Fuck off!" he wasn't surprised.

And now what? His wife didn't want to say anything to him, and his son even less.

He just wanted to understand his son. But life wasn't easy when his son was Bakugou Katsuki.

Well, maybe it was nothing, maybe he was right
and the second year was just harder.

Besides, if it were something bad his wife would have told him right away, so with the days passing by he stops worrying about it, and forgets.

Until one day, another Saturday morning, someone knocks at the door.
He is in the living room reading a book when he hears the knock and, well, he is the one closest to the door so he gets up to open it, maybe purposely ignoring his son's screams "Don't open that damn door!" "Don't dad!"

Oh, but it's too late.
If his son was this nervous maybe it was the /girl/ his son liked, or maybe his girlf- boy? It was a boy?

"Kirishima?" He asked confused. He had seen Kirishima a couple of times at his house, but he was always accompanied by another blond guy and another
with black hair.

Then why was his son nervous?

"H-hi! I'm- is Bakugou at home?"

Why was Kirishima nervous?

Before Masaru could answer a really angry and blushed Bakugou came down the stairs.

Masaru blinks a few times, and he can hear Mitsuki laughing
in the kitchen.

"Bakugou!" Kirishima's face literally lights up when he sees Bakugou, but before he could say anything else the blonde grabs his hand and starts pulling him out of the house.

"Where are going to park or something shit. Don't call me"
The last thing he sees is the apologetic smile on Kirishima's face before the door closed.

He blinks, confused again, and looks at his wife trying to understand what happened in the span of a few seconds.
Mitsuki sighs "Honey, your son is okay, there is nothing wrong with him. He is just a dumbass and in love".

Oh, after all it was really something about love.
