So there is a cardinal nest in one my backyard bushes and earlier this week the female started incubating her eggs! I trying to get y’all a decent picture but my phone camera isn’t cutting it.

Today we were taking Easter pictures and the male was chasing this younger male around our backyard. I got to talk about bird behavior to my parents and we watched him chase the younger one for 20 minutes.

The paired male came out victorious! Finally driving the younger bloke away and let everyone else know that our backyard is his territory.

I need to find my camera, but at some point I’ll update this thread with pictures of the nest.
