my switch’s left control stick keeps migrating during gameplay without me touching it. I’ve tried to update the controller and recalibrate the stick multiple times, same problem. Any tips?
My gut tells me it’s a hardware issue, not a software issue. But I don’t see any workaround?
Thanks, y’all (that’s genuine lol)
Treating myself to a new controller because the switch is about the only thing keeping me together during this pandemic 🥴
I went for a wired one because it was cheaper and I don’t have a TV anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️, so I’m not too concerned about distance.
I am a clown.

Did curbside pickup, plugged it in, and then...”for use in dock mode only.” I...I don’t have a TV. I don’t have an external monitor. I can’t use my shit in dock mode.

The website doesn’t list it, so I’m not fully a clown, but I’m still a clown.
I’m irritated with myself, with BestBuy, with the company that makes the controller, and with Nintendo. This is a officially endorsed product so one would think an important detail like that would be listed. But one would also think that the consumer (me) would check first 🙃
I just wanted to play AC without paying $90 for replacement joycons (bc the repair center isn’t open for COVID19) that were just gonna break any damn way. I went for the cheaper one ($25—which went down to $20 the day after I bought it lol) and now 🥴

I wanna take a nap.
