Because missing out on a church service is not “forsaking the assembly”. We are to fellowship with others, THAT is what we are not meant to forsake. We are not told “missing out on a single assembly is a sin”, but that we are not to abandon the Christian community. That is very very different and I think it a stretch to interpret it that way.
