With all due respect, I have no issues with any person in the LGBTQ+ community. While I do not agree with it because it is not something my religion stands for, myself and no other Christian should go out of our way to disrespect anyone in the community.

However it is sad and disrespectful how much Christianity as a whole has been disrespected ESPECIALLY in America. Today, Easter where we are supposed to celebrate how Jesus Christ is risen is the day in which the hashtag sungay is trending.

If you demand respect from Christians, you should kindly give that same respect back. Even the symbol of the LGBTQ community, the rainbow comes from the Bible. It was supposed to represent a promise btwn God and his people that he would never destroy the Earth with a flood again.

Yet this symbol has in turn been used to disregard/disrespect Christianity and what God has wanted for this world. Aside from the LGBTQ community, the holiday of Easter has been disrespected, especially by America.

With the help of the Devil, the world has diverted from celebrating Jesus rising from the dead to celebrating the Easter egg bunny. Today, I went on Instagram to search for Easter related stickers to attach to my story, only to find Easter eggs.

In addition to the disrespect on Easter Day, there is a lot of disrespect during the time of Christmas. Starting at a young age, children have been taught about Santa Claus and gifts being the main message of Christianity instead of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Those who are atheists and of different religions often try to cause confusion with Christmas saying that this is not Jesus’ true birthday when in reality we should be focused on all our Lord and Savior has done for us.

People have even gone to the extent to call Christmas XMAS to eliminate the Christ aspect and focus on other things such as Santa Claus.

As you can see by this thread, Christianity is one of the most disrespected religions there are. I kindly ask those who may not agree with the religion to give Christianity the respect you would expect Christians to give you.

For my Christian peers, it’s important to be knowledgeable about the Bible to ensure the Devil can’t use ways of the world to distract you. We must also remember that we shouldn’t bash anyone for their disrespectful comments but instead love one another as Jesus has loved us.
