Calvin Stengs is a superb talent he's excellent on the ball very good in 1v1 situations and in tight spaces. Added to that he's a very good passer of the ball. He also loves shooting from distance and playing through balls along the ground.

However what makes Stengs so special is the fact that wingers of his height usually aren't good technically and tend to rely on their speed and raw athleticism but Stengs despite his height is incredible with the ball at his feet and doesn't overly rely on pace to beat defenders.

This had lead to many top clubs around Europe studying Stengs and his other teammate Boadu who's also had a great season. However it's unlikely they'll leave As Alkmaar this summer but after that they'll be a whole host of clubs after them. Especially if they perform at the Euros

In terms of a future club I believe Stengs would suit a club like Manchester city, although he would have to adjust to the physicality of the premier league. He could thrive under Pep Guardiola. His current contract with Az Alkmaar expires on June 6th 2023.

Stengs has also made his debut for the Dutch national team. His best performance coming against Estonia in a 5-0 win during a Euro qualifier where he left the game with 2 assist
