@mophrd @sayedzbukhari I am a pakistani citizen stranded in U.K. for last 26 days.I came here as a tourist and now I am running out of finances.I have been trying to book return flight with @Official_PIA since it hs started special flights.PIA Manchester office is saying that 1/4

flights are going ferry on their return. In addition to that,I sent an email to the support desk established for special flights but I got a reply that there are no seats available.I’ve been tweeting on your ministry’s official account as well but got no response.I tried to 2/4

contact @PakistaninUK to seek help but nobody replied to my emails.I’m trying everything in my capacity to reach out to concerned authorities but nothing seems to be helping.I’m about to get homeless and I don’t have money to afford a hotel. My Family is extremely worried in 3/4

Lahore.I am desperately seeking your any kind of help in either travelling back to my home or managing my accommodation here till I get back home.I don’t have words to explain what I’m going throughI request you to plz look into this matter. I and my family would be thankful 4/4

WhatsApp Support desk established by @mophrd replied my message and provided contact details of Manchester Consulate.I have just spoken to the office Community Welfare Attache in Manchester. The officer behaved very nicely but it’s unfortunate that neither

they’ve any resources to help stranded Pakistanis in U.K. nor they have any kind of working relationship with @Official_PIA .Lack of coordination between @mophrd and PIA is creating more confusion and chaos in this critical time.I’m calling PIA offices but nobody is answering.

Finally last night I received a reply from @PakistaninUK in which I was asked to provide some information for the purpose of data collection.After sending the required information I received a generic email, screenshot is attached.

Here I’m attaching a reply from @Official_PIA,a proof that even at this critical time the unprofessionalism of PIA is at its peak.I asked PIA for assistance for the flights from U.K. to Pakistan, while email coordinator gave me information about Islamabad to Manchester flights.

I was asked to contact PIA Contact Centre.After several attempts I managed to talk to a CSR.He said,flights operating on 16th n 18th April aren’t bringing passengers from U.K. to Pakistan. @mophrd is saying more flights have been arranged while PIA’s policy is completely contrary.

It’s an unprecedented time,I understand the govt machinery is choked.But contradictory policies,lack of coordination among departments is making the whole situation more chaotic for stranded Pakistanis. I request to @Official_PIA and @mophrd to come up with an unanimous policy.
