At our local #COVID19 assessment center, I saw many PSWs. They were more likely to:

1. Have emigrated from elsewhere
2. Be significantly younger
3. Have no OHIP coverage

Many of them were coming back for repeated testing as they need serial negative tests to resume work.

They are facing an incredibly difficult situation while caring for our most vulnerable in our society.

Poor pay, hard work, barriers to their own healthcare all while incurring risk with little protection .

They deserve so much better. Caring for them properly will save lives.

We need to do so much better and #COVID19 is showing us that.
