I wanted to tell a fun story since it’s Easter and we’re all stuck inside. I was @beyondwrestling many years ago and the ring didn’t show up for the show. The venue was full of enthusiastic wrestling fans and nobody got upset over the ring not being there. Beyond has great fans

Anyway people were just standing around to pass the time and @SugarDunkerton took it upon himself to entertain the fans. He made a human wrestling ring and had a match and it was one of the most organic and fun things I’ve been been part of while watching a show life to cover it

The ring eventually arrived and the show went on as planned very late into the night but the one thing I remember clearly from that show is Suge D going out of his way to entertain the fans. Recently Suge has gone overseas and a few years have gone by and

he’s going to be on Dynamite this week facing Sammy Guevara. I don’t have much to look forward to these days but I’m looking forward to seeing what Suge D. does with this opportunity. It sure was fun seeing him capitalize off Jericho calling him Pinapple Pete on Dynamite (end)
