Full disclosure: I have done some (very occasional) consultancy work to serve as an expert on whether or not images were identical/had duplications. The ultimate decision about researchers& #39; integrity is not with me but with publishers/institutes.
This is similar to a judge or jury who will look at e.g. a pathologist& #39;s report on a person& #39;s cause of death or a patent lawyer who calls in an expert witness about similarity between two patents. It& #39;s (occasional) paid work for me, but I do not judge.
Salient detail: The person who had issues with my resume is French. I am wondering if some French scientist or one of their fans is not happy with my work...... https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤔" title="Thinking face" aria-label="Emoji: Thinking face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Face with tears of joy" aria-label="Emoji: Face with tears of joy">
