I just hit 500 followers, so to celebrate, what's the silliest thing you've ever experienced a church/denomination get into a dispute over?

For me, it was the years there was a schism in the mennonite brethren movement over baptizing forward or backward in the water.

Through my years in ministry:
-carpet color selection was a big topic
-replacing the organ
-taking "given in memory of" plates off of EVERYTHING
-men being allowed on stage without a tie/ jacket
-taking the american and christian flag off stage (every church I was in I did that)
