1. Why GOP ignorance will again harm one of its key voting blocs:

The Postal Service. There are many issues this - including losses caused by GOP mandated pension accounting that no private company could survive -but a big one the GOP seems to forget is "last mile" delivery.../1
...in fact, Trump seems so set on destroying @USPS for its delivery deal with Amazon (which, btw, is profitable for USPS) undoubtedly because Bezos owns the Washington Post, and GOP hunger to kill vote-by-mail, they pay NO attention to the needs of rural voters vis a vis USPS../2
...the @USPS is required to deliver to every address. The private carriers do not have that requirement, and they don't do do it. Delivery in each zip code requires an entire infrastructure - expenses USPS must incur regardless of revenue generated from a particular zip code../3
...so, @USPS makes its huge profits from big cities and other places where the infrastructure is offset by significant usage. But those profits are drained for rural deliveries, or areas that have the least population and thus the least revenue.

Thats why Amazon delivers.../4
...most of its packages by mostly private carriers in large cities (and Amazon is also building its own delivery system), but in rural areas, the @USPS "last mile" system is what gets deliveries to rural areas - which are occupied by many GOP voters.

So, what happens if.../5
...Trump and the GOP successfully bankrupt the @USPS (again, with the GOP forced pension accounting no private company would use and that has caused huge losses. The House has tried to end there crazy accounting while the GOP Senate won't take up the bill)?.../6
...voters in rural areas, which also have crummy wireless infrastructure, won't get their bills. Or letters. Or wedding invitations. Or magazines. They won't get packages from Fed Ex, UPS or any of the other private carries. Forget ordering through Amazon, rural voters.../7
...because NO private company has or will ever establish a last-mile delivery system. Why? It's a guaranteed money-loser. The expense for last-mile is huge, the revenue is small. So, get ready to be isolated from the world. You will have to use wireless systems - bad ones..../8
...its amazing the GOP is talking about bailing out hedge funds - run by centi-millionaires for billionaires, which are supposed to take risks to get returns - and the GOP make a "rich people win with good investments, taxpayers lose with bad" while the @USPS, which serves.../9
...every American - poor, working class, rich alike - gets nothing, not even to compensate for the ridiculous accounting the GOP imposed on the @USPS. It's as if the GOP forced accounting on Mobil that caused it to lose money, then refused to bail it out when it collapsed.../10
...so, @POTUS and @GOP - once you forced the @USPS out of business, what are you going to tell your rural voters? "Oh, we couldn't give them money despite forcing accounting on them that caused huge losses, because we are spending too much on hedge funds?" Rural voters.../11
...who can't get their bills, who can't get their packages, who can't get essential elements for their lives - while rich people in cities will just turn to Fed-Ex - will *finally* see you frauds for what you are:.../12
..an organization of the rich for the rich, who dont give a damn about the rural voters you trick each election to think you care about them through Fox News and other propaganda.

When you destroy the @USPS, it will never be replaced. And that will end the @GOP rural vote.
