Not to make light of any of your takes on Rangasthalam but here is my hot take on that movie:

Rangasthalam painfully reminds me of the dearth of Telugu heroines in TFI or rather the reluctance of filmmakers to cast Telugu speaking actresses in Telugu movies.

Ramalakshmi is not a great role per say but atleast it's rooted & native and watching Samantha play that character with her 'stereotypical village girl' expressions was painful.
Add to that Chinmayi's dubbing.
Samantha fans don't @ me.
