A sub recently walked me through his purchases on Amazon for the last five years. It was horrifying to see how he’d squandered his money - tossing gift cards right and left, so many toys that now sit in a box, yet to be enjoyed, etc etc.
I tend to be a financially prudent person and have confidence in my ability to spend as an investment. I asked him if he was ready to give me reign of his spending, to prevent shit like this. He softened and relaxed as he realized that he could be held safely.
That someone has his best interest in mind and will be able to direct his energy for his highest good. He’s learning and hopefully will be able to do this on his own someday, but he’s not there yet.
So, he signed his account over to me (& I changed the password and email so he can’t make any more sloppy impulse buys) and gave me his credit cards. This is a big responsibility for me and it isn’t the kind of arrangement I would want with just anybody.
For someone though that had demonstrated time and again his loyalty, willingness and excitement to learn, and level headedness (for the most part), this is .... a delight.
I still don’t consider myself a findomme... just financially prudent, clear visioned, and relentlessly merciless💖
