post whatever you like. post whatever fashion-related thing you like. whether it's 90s ch*n*l, fashion history, celeb fashion or some goddamn chairs. POST WHATEVER YOU WANT. it doesn't matter. it's twitter. what exactly do you have to lose?

this is the problem i have with this community. there's been a "standard" set for what it means to be a hf acc. there's this pressure to be a fashion expert in order to feel validated in the community. this is what i mean when i say hf twitter is similar to the fashion industry.

part of the problem is the community itself. some of yall are gatekeeping. "im scared of how big the community is getting" or "not the locals finding hf twitter". need i remind yall that more than half of you were said locals not too long ago? don't be fucking obnoxious.

some of yall are treating new accs like they're puny freshmen and you're a senior. some of yall ARE GROWN. grown ass adults. mind your damn business and let the new accs figure out what the like or don't like, what they wanna post or don't post.

and to the new accs: pls do not try to seek the approval of big hf accs who've been here a long time. you do not need it. if your posts or thread flops, who cares? delete it and post again. or, chances are, your acc will most likely grow eventually and you can retweet it.

your acc essentially documents all the information you've learned. you'll figure out how things work on your own along the way. you'll learn where to get good hq photos of early 2000's dior collections. you'll learn where to keep up with the latest news. calm down. take your time

you can be apart of hf twitter if you want to. no one needs to tell you if you are. there's no requirement to what makes you an hf acc — there's literally dozens of different kinds. just post what you want and you'll find others like you, and an audience thay likes your content.
