Gendered socialization is a thing, in fact. What it is not is "you were raised as a male" or some bullshit, though. It& #39;s a personal expression like all gendered things tend to be. You don& #39;t tell a woman she& #39;s a woman because she got female socialization; that is ludicrous.

It is equally ludicrous to say trans women received "male socialization" for the same reasons; they are not men, and the gendered socialization they did receive didn& #39;t match their gender in the first place and is often failed to be met or actively rejected.

If saying someone is a woman because they received female socialization is ludicrous, it is equally ludicrous to say a woman is or isn& #39;t a woman based on receiving non-female socialization.

So don& #39;t refer to other people like that. Thanks.
